By creating vignettes from the chair’s perspective, inspired by Eugene Ionesco’s The Chairs, I’m exploring new kind of interplay between them – as individual objects with a life of their own - and the audience.
Have a seat and absorb the stories. The relationship between the audience and the object – an eliberation of the unconscious. Exposure of the marginal, the hidden, the secretive desires of the audience. We stare at others and at our dramatized lives, simultaneously terrified and fascinated.
